By accessing or using DriveEasy ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you may not access or use the Platform. These Terms apply to all visitors, riders, drivers, and others who access or use the service.
DriveEasy is a technology platform that connects riders seeking transportation with independent drivers. DriveEasy does not provide transportation services directly. Drivers are independent contractors, not employees or agents of DriveEasy. DriveEasy is not responsible for the actions, omissions, or conduct of any driver or rider.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use this Platform. By agreeing to these Terms, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. DriveEasy will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this requirement. Each user may only maintain one active account.
Riders agree to treat drivers with respect and to comply with all applicable laws during a ride. Riders may not request rides in excess of the platform's area-request limits. Fraudulent, abusive, or harassing behavior will result in immediate account suspension. Riders are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of pickup and dropoff addresses.
Drivers must hold a valid driver's license, maintain adequate vehicle insurance, and comply with all local transportation regulations. Drivers agree to complete the daily short-ride activity requirement to remain eligible for payment on longer rides. Drivers who fail to arrive within the stated timeframe or who disable location services during a ride may be subject to automatic refund issuance to the rider.
Payment is processed via Stripe. Your card is authorized at the time of booking and charged only upon ride completion. Automatic refunds are issued if a driver fails to arrive within one hour or if driver GPS goes offline during the ride. All fares are calculated based on the rate type (per-mile or hourly) selected at the time of booking. DriveEasy reserves the right to adjust pricing at any time with notice.
Ride requests are only visible to drivers within 25 miles of the pickup location. DriveEasy does not guarantee that a driver will be available for every request. Riders acknowledge that driver availability depends on real-time supply and demand in their area.
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using DriveEasy, you consent to the collection, use, and sharing of your information as described therein, including the sharing of your location data with matched drivers during an active ride.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DriveEasy and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform or any ride facilitated through it.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DriveEasy and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.
DriveEasy reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Platform after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using the Platform.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the applicable jurisdiction, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.

All content, features, functionality, design, source code, graphics, logos, trademarks, service marks, trade names, user interface layouts, and other materials on or within the DriveEasy Platform (collectively, "Platform Content") are the exclusive property of DriveEasy and its licensors and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws of the United States and international jurisdictions. No ownership or license in any Platform Content is transferred to you by virtue of your use of the Platform. DriveEasy reserves all rights not expressly granted herein.
You are strictly prohibited from: (a) copying, reproducing, duplicating, republishing, uploading, posting, transmitting, or distributing any portion of the Platform Content in any form or by any means without prior written permission from DriveEasy; (b) reverse-engineering, decompiling, disassembling, or otherwise attempting to derive the source code, algorithms, database schemas, or underlying structure of the Platform; (c) scraping, crawling, or using automated tools to extract data, content, design elements, or functionality from the Platform for any purpose; (d) creating derivative works, clones, or substantially similar products based on the Platform Content, design, or functionality; (e) plagiarizing or misrepresenting the Platform's design, code, branding, copy, or content as your own work; (f) using the Platform's name, logo, or branding in any manner that implies endorsement, affiliation, or sponsorship without express written consent from DriveEasy; or (g) framing, mirroring, or embedding any portion of the Platform on another website or application without authorization. Violations of this section may result in immediate account termination and may subject you to civil and criminal liability, including claims for damages, injunctive relief, and attorneys' fees under applicable intellectual property laws.
DriveEasy respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects all users to do the same. If you believe that any content on the Platform infringes your copyright, please notify us through the Platform's support channel with the following information: (a) a description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed; (b) the specific URL or location of the allegedly infringing material on the Platform; (c) your name, address, telephone number, and email address; (d) a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and (e) a statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf. DriveEasy will respond to valid notices in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and applicable law, and reserves the right to remove allegedly infringing content and terminate accounts of repeat infringers.
